"House Of Leaves" is the debut novel by Mark Z. Danielewski, and is a notable piece of Horror Literature due to the way it is formatted, with part of the story being told where you would expect it, and the other part being in the footnotes. It tells multiple stories at once, and is known for its mindbending pages. It is also quite meta, long, and confusing. This is why this website exists, for reference to help understand the pages! This novel is hard to get into, but is an important part of horror history, inspiring such things as "Everymanhybrid" and "myhouse.wad".
